About Us
Northside Baptist School was established in September 1955, as a wholly owned ministry of Northside Baptist Church, to meet the needs of young children by providing an environment where they can grow spiritually, mentally, socially, physically and emotionally. We are concerned with the development of Christian leadership for the future; therefore, we place an emphasis upon the spiritual as well as the educational growth of the child. It is to this end that our teaching efforts will be directed throughout the school year.
As a ministry of Northside Baptist Church, Northside Baptist School is a warm, accepting, Christ-focused place, where all students can grow spiritually, emotionally and socially. Students will achieve academic success through a challenging curriculum that encourages critical thinking and problem solving. We recognize and respect the uniqueness of each child, while striving to instill integrity, compassion, and confidence. We offer each child support and encouragement to become the individual God created him or her to be.
The use of ABeka curriculum, coupled with small class sizes, creates an academic environment that is engaging, meaningful and adaptable to a variety of learning styles. We also offer an exciting summer camp, extracurriculars, flexible childcare options and experienced leadership.

Faith & Spiritual Growth
Students are guided in developing an understanding of God’s love and care while learning about Jesus and His example of compassion, service, and kindness. Through Bible stories, lessons, and daily experiences, children begin building a strong spiritual foundation.
Academic Development
Our curriculum encourages students to think independently, explore their interests, and build strong academic skills. We foster curiosity, language development, and concentration while helping students develop a lifelong love of learning.
Emotional Well-Being
We support each child’s emotional growth by encouraging confidence, resilience, and healthy self-expression. Students learn to navigate challenges, understand their feelings, and grow in self-awareness.
Physical Development
Through active play and structured activities, students develop coordination, motor skills, and healthy habits that support their overall well-being.
Character & Community
Students learn the importance of respect, kindness, cooperation, and responsibility. By working and playing together, they develop the social skills and character needed to become thoughtful and caring members of their community.
